The State of Gen Z: Survey Learnings from 1,300 College Students
What better way to learn about Gen Z than from Gen Z themselves? Our parent company, Newbridge Marketing Group, asked all the burning questions of 2021 so marketers and recruiters don’t have to.
Here are some things for recruiting teams to keep in mind as we keep chugging away with Spring recruiting and start thinking about Fall recruiting:
- 30% of students have changed their career or educational path due to Covid, with the majority of those modifying the number of classes they took. But 8% of those decided on a different career in their future and 9% changed their major.
- 66% of respondents currently have a part-time or full-time job.
- When asked about their summertime plans, 78% of respondents said they plan on getting a job or internship this summer.
- 45% of respondents plan on getting a summer internship, but don’t yet have one lined up.
